Local Spotlight: Tooth & Nail Winery

Whether you live on the Central California Coast or not, we’re pretty sure you’ll want to hear about one of our favorite local spots. If you’re familiar with the Paso Robles area at all, then you know that wineries and tasting rooms are practically on every corner, and it can sometimes be overwhelming to think about which ones to go to and explore. We’ve checked out a fair amount, and one of our favorites by far is the Tooth and Nail Castle in Paso Robles.

Not long ago, we were introduced to Tooth and Nail Winery when we were asked to complete a few metal projects for their tasting room. The tasting room and event space is literally housed in a castle, complete with a moat and foot bridge. It is unique and awe-inspiring, and a treat to experience in person. The Rabble Wine Company has done an incredible job of staying true to the French Chateau feeling of the building while bringing a modern and industrial vibe into the ambiance.

One reason we enjoy this winery so much is it is family-friendly and has a laid back and inviting atmosphere. We feel comfortable bringing our entire family, including our toddler, and can easily enjoy their beautiful covered patio areas, yard games, and spectacular views.

There are four brands of wine available at Tooth and Nail: Tooth & Nail, Rabble, Stasis, and Amor Fati. There is something for everyone among these four, and the pairings offered to go alongside these will also excite your palate.

Recently, Rabble introduced something new and exciting - augmented reality labels on their wine bottles. This means, if you download their app from here and look at their new labels through that lens, you will see the images actually come to life! It is trippy and exciting all at the same time. We built a rack that you can now find in the tasting room where these new labeled bottles can be found - be sure to check it out and let us know what you think!

We have had the pleasure of tasting, dining, and relaxing at the castle a number of times, and each time we enjoy ourselves beyond measure! If you are looking for  an elegant yet down-to-earth dining and wine tasting experience, be sure to check out this amazing castle as we’re sure you won’t be disappointed.

We have created many custom metal items for Tooth and Nail, and we are excited to be in the process of some really neat items coming in the near future. We are grateful for the experience and have so enjoyed meeting and interacting with this fun and kind-hearted staff.

Perfect spot for a day or eve of romance as well. Can’t wait to see what metal pieces you’re creating for this beautiful location.

I love this! I wish I lived closer so we could go here with the kiddos together!
